I’ve been building websites since before Google existed.
Back in the 90s, when Amazon was a fledgling online bookshop, I was hand coding HTML in my spare time, completely hooked on this new thing called the World Wide Web. What started as curiosity became a 30-year love affair with technology.
I spent most of my career in the thick of digital transformation - helping high street brands figure out eCommerce, building intranets that people actually wanted to use, and translating tech-speak into human language for everyone from CEOs to charity volunteers.
When I moved to Derbyshire, I managed a local charity, juggling funded projects, a team of 10, and completely rebuilding their digital presence. One project particularly stuck with me - helping people over 50 get comfortable with technology. I watched brilliant, capable people who felt too old for tech discover that they could absolutely master it.
That’s when something clicked.
Now I work exclusively with women over 50 who run their own businesses. Not because they need dumbed down tech support, but because they deserve someone who gets that what they're building is meaningful - and technology should serve that vision, not complicate it.
